Aultmore, Banffshire

Aultmore is a 13 turbines consented site situated in Aultmore Forest Banffshire.

In February 2014 Moray Council granted planning permission for Aultmore Wind Farm.  We would like to thank the local community and businesses for their support.

Working with the community

We are committed to providing a community benefit package for the 25 year life of the project, which will be developed in dialogue with the local community.

We are continuing to work with the local community to determine the principles and practicalities of establishing the community benefit fund so that the best and most appropriate fund is developed to meet the needs of the local community.

Local Supply Chain

Vattenfall is committed to engaging with local companies to ensure that our approach to project procurement and investments supports local businesses to enter and prosper in the renewable energy and green jobs sector. Visit our Supply chain section for more information.

We are currently constructing an 18 turbine wind farm in Clashindarroch Forest near Huntly, Aberdeenshire and particular emphasis has been put on maximising local content.  In the first nine months of construction over £3m has been spent in the Moray and Aberdeenshire area.

If you are a local company interested in the work opportunities through the project, please register your interest today.
