Vattenfall, the European energy company, invites local residents today (6 July) to comment on its proposal for the Nocton Fen Wind Energy Project before the statutory consultation closes in two weeks (20 July).
The developer made the call after a month of extensive consultation involving six local public exhibitions where nearly 500 people attended and commented on the proposal.
Local residents can comment on the scheme via a feedback form which can be downloaded from the Vattenfall website here>>> www.vattenfall.co.uk/noctonfen
Graham Davey, Vattenfall’s Project Manager for the 20-turbine scheme, said: “In the past four weeks we have spoken to hundreds of people about our plans for a wind farm at Nocton Fen. We have really good feedback from a lot of people but the consultation is open for a further two weeks so please go to the website and use the feedback form and let us know what you think.
“But the conversation does not end there. If any member of the public wants to ask us something or has a comment then please get in touch.”
Once the statutory period of consultation has closed and all comments have been gathered Vattenfall will analyse and then publish a feedback report.
