Vattenfall have been working with The Crown Estate and Canterbury City Council on a project called the Coast Explorer. This is a marine environment and renewable energy education programme and gives young people the opportunity to develop a relationship with the coast and experience the marine environment in its natural setting. More here.
We offer local people, especially young people a chance to visit our projects, particularly during the construction and operating phases. It is a chance for them to learn more about the wind farm they will live with for up to 25 years.
