Onshore substation construction

The onshore construction works will begin with setting up the site: install temporary site access, welfare facilities, site signage, etc. This will be followed by earthworks to prepare for setting the foundations, drainage and site roads.

Once foundations are completed, the building structures will be constructed. The onshore substation will consist of two buildings, one to house the transformer which will stand at 10.6m, 25m width and 28m in length and the other building which will be used for operation and maintenance purposes will stand at 6m in high, 20m width and 30m length.

After building works are completed, landscaping of the site will take place.
