Offshore wind - delivering at scale

Offshore wind projects can deliver renewable electricity at scale. The UK is leading the way, and we are developing a pipeline of projects that could power 3.6million UK homes.


The opportunities for the UK supply chain are diverse. There are companies of all sizes and backgrounds who are thriving working in the sector. The industry is expected to generate tens of thousands of skilled jobs across the UK, making offshore wind the backbone of a clean, reliable and affordable energy system.


By 2030, the UK will have at least 30GW of offshore wind capacity which will provide over 30% of the UK’s power needs.
